Installationsanleitung/How to install:
 
1. Please ask your system administrator if and in which directory the mysql database server is installed on
   your system; find out if an apache webserver is running on your system and where it is installed.
   If you already have a Webnative-venture version installed, no mysql database server is needed.
 
2. Please inform yourself if the database user "root" exists and if this user is allowed to
   create databases on your mysql-server (which should be the same machine); please inform
   yourself about the password of this database user.
   In most of the cases the database user root exists without having a password because these
   the default settings of the mysql-database server. If this user doesn't exist anymore as
   database user on your system please ask your database administrator for a database user with/without password
   who has such privileges.
 
3. Please unpack the archiv using the command "tar xvfz syman-1.0.tgz" or if you have not the
   GNU tar installed on your system "gzcat syman-1.0.tgz | tar xf - ". The directory
   syman-1.0 is created. Change into this directory.
 
4. Log in as superuser "root".
 
5. Execute the "./install" or "sh install" command.
 
6. Follow the instructions and proposals of the installation program if possible.
 
7. After the installation has completed start your favourite internet browser and go to
   http://localhost:8080/syman or http://URL_of_the_machine_the_program_was_installed:8080/syman
   if you have installed syman remotely.
 
8. Configure syman up to your needs using the "setup" button. (for more information
   please consult the syman user's guide chapter X)
